The finals of the 13th Gunpla Builders World Cup (GBWC, Gunpla World Cup), a contest to determine the world's best Gunpla builder from the Gundam anime series, were held on February 7th at Gundam Base Tokyo (Koto-ku, Tokyo), and in the U-14 course for ages 6 to 14, "FLY, SKYLARK Z GUNDAM!" (ZHOU HAOXUAN), representing mainland China, was crowned world champion. The masterpiece is based on the Gundam Lindwurm Gunpla "RE/100 1/100 Gundam Lindwurm" from "Gundam Build Divers Genius Head Line."
ZHOU HAOXUAN, the creator of the world's best Gunpla, is 11 years old and has been building Gunpla for about three years. The base Gundam Lindwurm is a Bawoo, but the head is from a machine called the Z Gundam, and he customized it by adding fin funnels. He focused on the blue, white, and green camouflage color scheme that evokes the sky.
In the U-14 course, Japan's representative "We won't scatter at Jaburo!" (Gunpla Mana-kun) came in second place, and Malaysia's representative "Gundam in the Battlefield" (Anderson) came in third place.
