The 90th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" starring Takaishi Akari was broadcast on February 6th. The episode attracted the attention of viewers with the image of Nishikori (Yoshizawa Ryo) excitedly holding the "Japan Travel Journal" in his hands, and the preview for the next week that was released after the main story.
A large package arrives addressed to Heaven (Tommy Bastow). "Oh dear... I've arrived," Heaven mutters. Nishikori suspects what's inside and wonders, "Ah! Could this be...?" When Heaven opens the box, he finds inside a book he's been writing for a long time: "A Journal of My Stay in Japan."
Nishikori responded excitedly, "See, I knew it! Japan Travelogue!" and applauded, "Congratulations!" The enclosed letter stated that sales in America were going very well, and Heaven expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thanks to you guys." When Heaven handed Nishikori the Japan Travelogue, he looked pleased and flipped through the pages.
Nishikori told Heaven, "Then let's get started on writing the next book right away. I'll help you with anything!" and happily added, "That's fantastic!" "It will also benefit education in Shimane and help our junior high school students advance to higher education. I'm very pleased as the next principal!"
Meanwhile, the preview for next week's episode, which was released after the main story ended, showed just Nishikori's moist-eyed profile in one shot. Nishikori's profile, with a somewhat serious expression on his face, was overlaid with lines from Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven saying, "He's the most important person to you, isn't he?" and "Nishiko-san, friend, demo..." creating an ominous atmosphere.
Comments on social media included, "Nishikori is more excited than he's ever been," "Nishikori is so cute, he's so excited," "What a beautiful smile. I could cry thinking about how happy he must have been," "It's ominous...," "What will happen next week?" and "I hope he keeps smiling."
