The 50th Elan d'or Awards ceremony, which recognizes actors and producers who have made outstanding contributions to film and television dramas, was held in Tokyo on February 4th. Award recipients Amane Okayama, Kaho, Jiro Sato, Akari Takaishi, Hokuto Matsumura of the popular group SixTONES, and Kyoko Yoshine attended the ceremony.
The Elan d'or Awards are an award system that began in 1956. Until now, it was called the Elan d'or Newcomer Award, but from this year onwards, the Newcomer Award has been dropped and the award is now simply called the "Elan d'or Awards."

In addition, the special award went to the production team of the film "National Treasure," and the "Actors Seminar Award" was awarded to Akimoto Yuki, Asahina Mao, Arai Miu, and Kamimura Yu.
On this day, the celebratory guests included Mori Nana at Okayama's side, Takeuchi Ryoma at Kaho's side, Kanichiro at Sato's side, Yoshizawa Ryo at Takaishi's side, director Shinkai Makoto at Matsumura's side, and Wakui Emi at Yoshine's side.
