The 86th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Takaishi Akari, was broadcast on February 2nd, and viewers were drawn to the comments made by Shoda (Hama Masago), who has become a teacher at Matsue Junior High School.
In the 85th episode (broadcast on January 30th), Shoda proposed to Sawa (Marui Wan) but was rejected.
In the 86th episode, Shoda, who has become an English teacher at Matsue Junior High School, stands at the podium and introduces himself to the students. Shoda says, "I graduated from the Imperial University and until recently I was teaching English at a junior high school in Tokyo," and explains, "Mr. Nishikori (played by Ryo Yoshizawa) and I were classmates when we attended Matsue Junior High School..."
Then Shoda suddenly said, "The other day... I proposed marriage... but I was rejected," causing a stir among the students. Shoda then said, "But I will still teach you well in your studies. Let's do our best, juniors!" and shook hands with the students.
