The 48th episode of the Super Sentai series "Number One Sentai Gojuger" (TV Asahi, Sunday 9:30 AM), "Resolved to Reform the World! In the Wind of Calamity," will be broadcast on February 1st. The main story of "Gojuger" will conclude with the remaining two episodes, including this one.
Before the battle for the ring with Hou (Fuyuno Shino), Mashiro (Kimura Kaiki) is invited by the "King of Calamity," Rex (voice: Suzumura Kenichi), to "become a god!" Mashiro's wish to "become a god surpassing the Tega Sword" is granted, but it will mean the destruction of humanity. Mashiro refuses the proposal and confronts Rex with Hou and the others, but is no match for him.
Then Fire Candle (Daisuke Sanbongi) bursts in, putting the Gojugers in a desperate situation. As the sorrowful voice of Goodeburn (voice: KENN) echoes, saying "Don't go, Kumade-san!", Mashiro begins her "determined crusade to reform the world."
"Number One Sentai Gojuger" is a work commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Super Sentai series. The story follows five heroes, each with a motif of a beast, such as an animal or a dinosaur, as they battle the Bridan Corps, who reign over the mysterious world of No One World, and rivals with the powers of the previous Reds, in search of the Centa Ring, a ring that is said to grant any wish if all are collected.
