To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the start of the TV anime "Yuru Yuri," based on Namori's popular manga, and the formation of the voice acting unit "Nanamori Junior High School Goraku Club," an event called "Yuri Yurara Rara Yuru Yuri Broadcasting Room 15th Anniversary Event" will be held at Science Hall (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on April 19th. Members of "Nanamori Junior High School Goraku Club," Mikami Shiori, Otsubo Yuka, Tsuda Minami, and Okubo Rumi, will appear to look back on the milestone 15th anniversary with fans.
"Yuru Yuri" is a manga currently being serialized in "Comic Yuri Hime" (Ichijinsha). The story follows four junior high school girls, including the main character Akaza Akari, a girl with a low profile, and the playful and powerful Toshinou Kyouko, who take over the old tea ceremony clubroom without permission and spend their days lazily. Despite being targeted by the student council, they continue to live their daily lives lazily.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2011, the second season from July to September 2012, and the third season from October to December 2015.
