TBS's live morning show "Lavvit!" (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM) aired on January 29th, and popular vocal duos participated in the "20 Great Songs Championship," where they sang the choruses of famous songs in a comfortable 20-minute rhythm.
On this day, D-51, known for "NO MORE CRY," the theme song for the second series of the popular drama "Gokusen," appeared in the studio. YASU said, "I just wanted to see if it was a masterpiece..." and the two of them took on the challenge in harmony.
They sang the intro "normally," and the studio erupted in loud applause, but when the chorus started, they sang the numbers in order, starting with 1, and finished with a solid 20, which drew a standing ovation. MC Akira Kawashima was surprised, saying, "They can even harmonize to make a masterpiece with 20."
