On January 27th, Abema's variety show "Love Hyena Season 5" featured Taka, a 37-year-old Japanese man living a "polygamous life" in Malaysia. Nagisa Nagisa, a former member of the comedy duo "Amakami Inter," visited Taka's luxurious home and reported on his life. He delved into the path he took to establish a happy "polygamous family."
Taka lives in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, an area that is attracting attention as an economically developed area. He lives in a luxurious house with a rent of 400,000 yen with his first wife Eri (39), his second wife Aya (43), and their four children.
Taka, who fulfilled his long-held dream of moving overseas in August last year, has taken the opportunity to start living together with his two wives and children. Each wife has her own bedroom in their three-story mansion, and they take turns sleeping with Taka every other night.
Investor Taka said, "I've lost about 20 million yen," but revealed that his current assets are "2 billion yen." Taka's bedroom is piled high with cash, and Nagisa was shocked, saying, "What?! Is that real?!" When asked why he keeps the cash there, Taka said, "To motivate myself. Trading is a lonely business."
During the interview, they also talked about how they ended up in a polygamous family. At the age of 29, Taka quit his job after making a success of investments, and as he thought about his happiness, he recalled, "I wanted a second wife." He married his first wife, Eri, in 2016, and while he said, "I was happy and had nothing lacking," he thought, "If I had more, I'd be even happier," and the idea of polygamy came to him.
When Taka confided in Eri about his feelings, she showed understanding but was initially opposed to polygamy. Then, in 2020, four years after his marriage to Eri, Taka met Aya, who would later become his second wife, at a seminar hosted by a friend. When Aya told him, "I've stopped looking for a partner, but I want to have children," he recalls asking her, "Why don't you have my child?"
Then, Aya found out she was pregnant. Eri was furious at Taka's betrayal and exclaimed, "Don't mess with me!" However, after pondering whether she should break up with him, she decided to meet Aya. Aya, on the other hand, recalled, "I went there prepared to be doused in water."
The studio MCs were surprised by the story of how a happy "polygamous family" was established. Guests in the studio included entertainer Tamao Sato and former member of "Dempagumi.inc" Mogami Moga.
