The second episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, was broadcast on January 25th. Lawyer Kaieda (played by Sakamoto Yoshi), who was taken to a "separate room" in the episode, appears in the preview for episode 3, which has been met with a lot of attention on social media.

Hayase (Suzuki), who is disguised as Gido, is told by Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya) that he will lose his life if he does not find the real culprit who stole the missing 1 billion yen within 24 hours.
Then they had dinner with Goroku and the others. Hayase played a recording saying, "It's you, isn't it? Professor Kaieda. You've been embezzling money from the organization." Ichika (Toda Erika) then fought back, showing them the ledger that Kaieda had embezzled. Goroku offered him a lobster, saying, "Professor Kaieda. Well, have something delicious." Then Fuyuhashi (Nagase Ren) knocked Kaieda unconscious and he was taken to another room.
In the preview video for episode 3, Kaieda appears and points a gun at Hayase and Kiriya (Fujisawa Suzuka), confirming his survival.
On social media, comments such as "Kaieda is still alive!", "Kaieda is alive...!?!?!?!?!", "He's still alive!" and "Has Kaieda been rebooted too?" have been posted.
The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past to reboot himself as a corrupt detective, Gido, and pursue the real culprit. The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo," "TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room," and "My Family."
