The fourth installment of the Girls Remix spin-off series, an original work by the app service Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC), which brings together female characters from past Kamen Rider works, "Kamen Rider Ainz with Girls Remix," began distribution on January 25th. Surprise appearances include Ozawa Sumiko, voiced by Fujita Hitomi, from "Kamen Rider Agito" (2001), and Kamen Rider Nadeshiko, voiced by Mano Erina, from "Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO MOVIE War MEGA MAX" (2011).
In "Kamen Rider Agito," Ozawa Sumiko, who served as the leader of the Metropolitan Police Department's Unidentified Lifeform Task Force and designed and developed the "G3 System," was depicted as having become a professor at the University of West London in the final episode of the TV series. She also appears as a professor at the University of West London in this film.
Regarding her feelings when she received the offer, Fujita commented, "I was half anxious and half happy. It's been over 20 years since Kamen Rider Agito, and I think people who watched it back then still have a certain image of Ozawa Sumiko, so I was worried that this would be ruined, but at the same time, I was excited and happy because I wanted to see Ozawa Sumiko again after such a long time, so I felt half anxious."
Addressing fans, she said, "When I appeared in Kamen Rider Agito, there were no female riders. But now female riders are becoming the standard, and I feel very emotional that this will be featured in a production. At the same time, I am truly honored to have been able to take part in such a work. I hope that both those meeting me for the first time and those who watched it back then will enjoy Ozawa's unique style. I hope you will continue to support the Kamen Rider series."
Mano, who played Kamen Rider Nadeshiko, recalled, "I first appeared in the movie version (at the time), but I was really happy that so many people liked her, and I still cherish her, so I was happy to be able to voice Nadeshiko again. It's been over 10 years since I played Nadeshiko, and I'm getting older now... (laughs). To be honest, I was worried about whether I could reproduce the lively voice of Nadeshiko from back then, but I was really looking forward to the day of the dubbing."
She appealed to her fans, saying, "I sometimes see posts from people who say they still love Nadeshiko in SONS, and from people who have picked up the Nadeshiko Driver. Thank you. I'm happy to be able to take part in this dream-like production! I hope you enjoy 'Kamen Rider Ainz with Girls Remix' and the scenes in which Nadeshiko appears!"
