The second episode of the drama series "Winter Something, Spring Something" (NTV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actress Hana Sugisaki, aired on January 21st. The episode depicted a scene in which Fumina, a novelist played by Sugisaki, spends Christmas Eve with her boyfriend Yukio (Ryo Narita), drawing attention to Yukio's behavior.

In the second episode, on a sunny winter day, Fumina is talking with the waiter Kazuchi-kun (Mizusawa Rintaro) and the manager Joe-san (Serizawa Koji) at her favorite coffee shop, Isunikyaku, about how to spend Christmas. "Do you want to spend Christmas with your lover?" Fumina is of the opinion that it's okay not to spend Christmas, but her boyfriend Yukio is of the opinion that he does.
Then on Christmas Eve, Fumina enjoyed shopping and dinner with Yukio...and so on.
In the episode, Fumina and Yukio enjoy shopping on Christmas Eve, then go to a restaurant that Yukio knows. While they are eating, Yukio hands Fumina a gift of jewelry, saying, "Here you go, Merry Christmas." Fumina is delighted, saying, "Wow! So cute!" and Yukio responds, "I look forward to working with you in the future." Then, when Fumina tries to put the jewelry on her ear right there, Yukio shows his consideration by quickly turning on the camera on his smartphone and pointing the screen at Fumina, so that it can serve as a mirror.
Yukio's behavior as a boyfriend became a hot topic on social media, with comments such as "He's the best boyfriend ever," "Yukio is such a great boyfriend," "He's such a thoughtful guy that he can pull out the front camera without a second thought, it's mellow!" and "He's such an ideal boyfriend it hurts."
