The first episode of TBS's Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, aired on January 18th. Noro Kayo, who has been gaining attention as "a drama with Noro Kayo in it is sure to be a hit," made an appearance, and viewers were excited, saying, "Noro Kayo is here!" and "Yes! With Noro Kayo in the show, it's sure to be a hit."

Hayase (Kenichi Matsuyama), suspected of murdering his wife Natsumi (Sayaka Yamaguchi), is proposed by Ichika (Erika Toda) to reboot his life by changing his face to "Gido." Hayase accepts and takes a leave of absence, faking depression. Ichika guides him to Hitomi Kuwabara's (Noro) home.
Hitomi explained, "We start with mandibular reconstruction to create the contours that will form the facial skeleton. We remove part of the jawbone to refine the facial line. Next is the throat. We perform thyroid cartilage reconstruction to bring the voice closer together." She performed plastic surgery on Hayase.
On social media, there was a lot of buzz, with comments such as "Noro Kayo is the one who makes dramas a hit," "If Noro Kayo is in it, it's sure to be an interesting drama," "It's so reassuring to see Noro Kayo in it," and "Noro Kayo here? Aren't they being too thorough with the casting?"
The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past to reboot himself as a corrupt detective, Gido, and pursue the real culprit. The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo," "TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room," and "My Family."
