A campaign was held to commemorate the broadcast of the 23rd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Detective PreCure!", and took over Tokyo Station Ichibangai.
For 21 days from January 23rd, advertisements for "Detective PreCure!" will appear at Nozomi Square, North Gate, and North Street in Tokyo Station Ichibangai. At Nozomi Square facing the ticket gates, illustrations of "Detective PreCure!" will greet you, and the Tokyo Okashi Land side of the ticket gates will be wrapped. At the North Gate, an illustration of the baton-passing event with the 22nd installment, "You and Idol Pretty Cure" will appear. At North Street, a campaign to collect "angou" (words with meaning) will be held; if you collect all seven "angou" characters and present them at "PreCure Pretty Store Tokyo," the official PreCure series store on Tokyo Character Street, you will receive a "Detective PreCure!" key visual sticker.
For one week from January 26th, peel-off advertisements for "Detective PreCure!" will be appearing in Shibuya, Tokyo, and other areas. Eight types of stickers, "Puzzle! PreCure Makoto Jewel Stickers," featuring the PreCure Makoto Jewel item, will cover the PreCure, with a random "mystery" printed on the back of the sticker. "Detective PreCure!" will also appear on digital signage at JR Nagoya Station and JR Hakata Station, and the main entrance on the first floor of Bandai's headquarters building (Taito Ward, Tokyo) will be wrapped in "Detective PreCure!" designs.
The "Detective PreCure! Secret Word Campaign" will start at toy stores on January 31st. If you tell the store clerk "Detective PreCure!" you will receive a "PreCure Role-Playing Set" which includes a "Paper Jewel Cure Watch-Shaped Catalog" and a "PreCure Makoto Jewel Puffy Sticker."
"Detective PreCure! ~Introducing the Show at Home~" will be streamed on YouTube at 5:30 pm on January 31st, and will feature appearances by Cure Answer and Cure Mystic to build excitement for the new PreCure in the lead-up to the broadcast.
The motif of "Detective PreCure!" is "detectives," and the theme is "see, feel, think, and find the 'true' answer for yourself." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in trouble," and are guided by a mysterious power to travel back in time from the present day of 2027 to 1999. The story transcends time and depicts the Pretty Cure's new encounters, friendships, and growth. It will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi from 8:30 am on February 1st.
