A figure of Thunder Gridman, who appears in the special effects drama "Gridman the Hyper Agent" that aired from 1993 to 1994, "SHFiguarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) Thunder Gridman" (Bandai Spirits) will be released. It will cost 14,850 yen.
The figure is made using the "SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU, which creates a figure from the skeleton up, and is sculpted based on the body scan data of suit actor Hiroyuki Okano, recreating his proportions. Supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' modeling division LSS and Takafumi Tanibuchi, who was in charge of creating the suits for Thunder Gridman, the details are expressed through modeling and tampo printing.
It comes with a set of support parts for recreating the Thunder Grid Beam effect parts and the Drill Break. As an original gimmick of the toy, it can hold the plasma blade and barrier shield that come with the separately sold "SHFiguarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) Gridman." Some parts are detachable, so you can combine it with "SHFiguarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) Gridman" to recreate the combination sequence from the movie.
Pre-orders will be accepted from 4:00 PM on January 23rd on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for August.
