The fifth episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT," starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, aired on May 10th. A scene in which magazine journalist Hitoka Kiriyama (Kasumi Arimura) apologizes to Keijiro Asatani (Kyohei Honda) by bowing deeply left a strong impression on viewers.

Keijiro was the victim of a traffic accident caused 10 years ago by his father, Hideo (played by So Yamanaka). Upon learning this, Hitoka decided to confess everything. She summoned Keijiro to the practice field and prostrated herself before him, saying, "I am so sorry. It was my father who caused your disability."
Shocked by the sudden confession, Keijiro ran out of the practice field.
Later, when Gotetsu (played by Tsutsumi) and others arrived at the practice field, Hitoka explained about Hideo's accident, apologizing, "I had no idea that the victim was Keijiro." Her voice trembling, she shed copious tears as she said, "I lived for 10 years without knowing anything about Keijiro."
Wu Tie tried to reason with her, saying, "But you were just dragged into it, weren't you?", but Ren Xiang replied, "But I'm family. No matter how much you try to distance yourself, I'm your daughter. Thank you for everything up until today," and left, hinting that she was leaving the team.

The drama follows Wu Tetsuya, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he solves difficult problems facing the underdog team "Blaze Bulls" from his unique perspective. It's a story of redemption where the team, friends, and family reconnect.
