The filming that day focused on a scene where Rin Ichinose (played by Mikami), who works as a dormitory supervisor at a girls' school in Niigata, is visited by Naomi Oya (played by Uesaka) and others from Tokyo, and then the group goes for a walk to see the Sea of Japan.
Mikami commented, "For Rin, Niigata is a place that will be an important turning point in her life. " Kaze,Kaoru" is based on two trained nurses, Chika Ozeki and Masa Suzuki, who graduated from the same nursing school.
