The second episode of the drama series "Winter Something, Spring Something" (Nippon TV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actress Hana Sugisaki Hana, aired on January 21st, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 3.3% for households and 1.7% for individuals.
The drama is an original love story directed by Imaizumi Rikiya, known for films such as "Love is Hard" (2019) and "Undercurrent" (2023). Novelist Fumina looks back on her past relationships in order to seriously confront her current partner.
Sugisaki will play Tsuchida Fumina, a novelist who, influenced by her various past romantic experiences, has avoided "falling in love properly" and "facing people properly," while Ryo Narita will play Fumina's boyfriend, Saeki Yukio.
The subtitle of the second episode is "People Who Overthink." It's Christmas Eve. Fumina enjoys shopping and dinner with her boyfriend Yukio. However, when he suggests, "Why don't we live together around summer?", Fumina can't immediately answer. En-chan (Nouchi Maru), who works with her at a second-hand clothing store; Kazuki-kun (Mizusawa Rintaro), a cafe employee; and Fumina. Each of them is different, but here are people who are troubled by love... that's the story.
