The non-credit opening and ending videos for the third season of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), have been released on YouTube.
The opening video features "TEST ME" sung by Chanmina, with Ruby, Kana Arima, Akane Kurokawa, and Mem-cho dancing seductively against the backdrop of a night city, creating a dark and insane atmosphere that evokes the dark side of the entertainment industry. Arima Kana is also shown enjoying a night pool.
The ending video shows Aqua and Ruby dancing, hinting at the future of the two, and features Natori's "Serenade."
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. It has also been adapted into a live-action film, which has attracted a lot of attention. The third season is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
