The second part of the special drama "Kyojo" starring Kimura Takuya will be broadcast on January 24th in the "Saturday Premium" time slot (Saturday 9pm). Based on a bestselling novel by Nagaoka Hiroki (Shogakukan), the drama is a police mystery set in a classroom at the police academy where students aspiring to become police officers attend. It depicts the cold-hearted instructor Kazama Kimichika (Kimura), who has white hair and a prosthetic right eye, and the students, each with their own motives.
The cast includes Kudo Asuka as Miyasaka Sadaru, the top student, Kawaguchi Haruna as Hishinuma Utsuki, the overconfident girl who boasts of being the most beautiful girl in the Kazama school and tries to curry favor with Kazama, Tomita Miu as Edamoto Yuna, Mikata Ryosuke as Tsuzuki Yota, who has excellent grades but a poker face, Oshima Yuko as Kusumoto Shinobu, a former interior coordinator, and Miura Shohei as Kusakabe Jun, a former boxer who has a wife and son.
Three students have dropped out, leaving Kazama's class with 27 students. While the rigorous training continues, Miyasaka, the honor student, is nowhere to be seen. Kusumoto Shinobu, concerned about Miyasaka's lack of enthusiasm, reports this to Kazama. Meanwhile, Tsuzuki Yota (Mikata Ryosuke), who keeps his distance from Miyasaka and the others, discovers that Kazama was a former violent crimes detective known for being a sharp-witted individual, but is unable to fully investigate the prosthetic eye in his right eye. Miyasaka and Kusakabe reproach Tsuzuki for this.
Changes were also occurring in Hishinuma Hazuki and Edamoto Yuna. The two have contrasting personalities but are good friends. Yuna, who had been in the shadow of the conspicuous Hazuki, gradually began to stand out. However, Yuna had a hidden reason.
A few days later, while collecting manuscripts for the graduation anthology, Miyasaka and Tsuzuki get into an argument about Kazama's attitude and get into a fistfight. A few months later, as the number of students at "Kazama Classroom" continues to decrease, the students are taken deep into the mountains for their final special class. There, they are told that they will not receive their diplomas unless they complete the assigned tasks, so they each spend the night there. How many students will survive to the end without being eliminated and receive their diplomas?
