The drama series "DREAM STAGE" (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring actor Tomoya Nakamura has released a synopsis and stills for the second episode, which will air on January 23rd.
After their first performance at the National Stadium, the underdog boy band "NAZE" has become united. However, due to pressure from the mega-agency that their rival "TORINNER" belongs to, there have been no interviews with NAZE. Their manager, Mercury (Elaiza Ikeda), is at a loss as to what to do.
President Nam (Ha Yeon-soo soo) decides to make a fresh start and move the group's base of operations to Japan. The members begin living together at Azuma's (Nakamura) home. However, they are fed up with Azuma's strict rules for daily life and the lessons that are still focused on the basics...
Unable to bear the sight of her, Suisei declares, "What can I do? I want to help NAZE!", and Azuma instructs her to find a "live event" that the unknown NAZE can perform at. In an attempt to change her lack of confidence and complexes, Suisei desperately tries to go on cold calls, but she is defeated every time.
Azuma seems to be plotting something...
This is a K-pop version of a sports drama in which Jun Azuma (played by Nakamura), a genius music producer who was once expelled from the industry for causing trouble, and seven dropout trainees from a small Korean talent agency form a boy band called "NAZE" and pursue their dreams together, transcending generations and nationalities.
