The synopsis and stills from the third episode, which will be broadcast on January 26th, of the Fuji TV Monday Getsuku drama "Yandoku!" starring Kanna Hashimoto , have been released.
A secretly filmed video of Oonami Ko (played by Hashimoto) scolding his junior colleague Ryuji (played by Kobayashi Toranosuke) and others goes viral on social media. The hospital's upper management, including the hospital's administrative director Takayama (played by Otani Ryohei), investigates Oonami Ko's past, and her delinquent ways gradually become known throughout the hospital.
Sugiura Yuto (Morinaga Yuki), who is hospitalized in the neurosurgery department, is suffering from diffuse astrocytoma, which is beginning to affect his memory and language ability. Koonami explains to Yuto and his parents that he needs surgery.
Yuto, who aspires to become a lawyer, is positive about the surgery, but begs that the knowledge he has accumulated be preserved. Koonami proposes to Yuto that they perform "awake surgery." It is a difficult operation in which the patient is woken up with their brain open during the operation, and the tumor is removed while monitoring their language and other reactions, but Nakata ( Osamu Mukai) approves. However, the surgeon will be Otomo (Otoo Takuma) instead of Koonami. Yuto's father, who learned of Koonami's past, says he cannot leave him in the care of such a doctor.
Otomo suddenly has to undergo a highly difficult surgery and begins frantically preparing. Seeing Otomo panic, Koonami offers to help, but the proud Otomo lashes out, "You only got into medical school because you got in through the back door or because you got a hold of the professor's weaknesses through sugar dating!" Koonami then loses her temper, yelling, "You bastard!" and strangles Otomo...
Written by Nemoto Nonji, this hilarious medical entertainment follows Hashimoto as Tagami Kotoha, a former delinquent girl who, after her best friend dies in an accident, studies hard to become a neurosurgeon and brings a breath of fresh air to the medical field.
