The third episode of the drama series "Okome no Onna - National Tax Agency Document Investigation Division, Miscellaneous Affairs Room" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring Nanako Matsushima, will be broadcast on January 22nd.
The Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau's new division, the Complex National Tax Cases Processing Office (commonly known as Zakkoku), led by Yoneda Masako (Matsushima), receives a tip-off from her superior, Mugitani Minoru (Tetsugi Shigeyuki).
Masako's eye is caught by the Y2K Beauty Clinic. The clinic's director, Mitsunobu Ashiya (Tetsuhiro Ikeda), who also appears in commercials, has expanded to include branches across the country. She tries to investigate the clinic first, but for some reason, Yuka Tawara (Neru Nagahama) refuses, and she begins a separate investigation on her own.
Iijima Sakuko (Daichi Mao), who went to investigate disguised as a customer, felt something was off about the state of the patients in the waiting room and the household altar that didn't fit in with the atmosphere of the hospital. Sasano Koichi (Hayato Sano) and Furumachi Toyosaku (Katsumi Takahashi) infiltrated the sauna where the clinic's doctors gather and overheard a strange conversation.
Yuka begins her own investigation into the fortune-telling salon, but is troubled when she notices that the clinic's commercials are frequently aired on the TV show of popular fortune-teller Kannazuki Shake (played by Yasushi Fuchigami). Eventually, the clinic, the fortune-telling salon, and even a religious organization become involved, and the case develops into an unexpectedly epic one...
