The second episode of Fuji TV's Monday Getsuku drama "Yandoku!" starring actress Kanna Hashimoto was broadcast on January 19th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 6.1% for households and 3.6% for individuals.
The drama is a thrilling medical entertainment in which the protagonist, Tagami Kotoha, a hardcore delinquent girl played by Hashimoto, studies hard after her best friend dies in an accident, becoming a neurosurgeon and bringing a breath of fresh air to the medical field. The original work is based on a real doctor, and the script is written by Nemoto Nonji, who also wrote the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi" starring Hashimoto.
In the second episode, a bride who has fallen ill with a brain tumor refuses to have her hair cut. How will the delinquent doctor deal with a patient who values her hair as much as her life? Will he be able to fight against the hospital's rules?
