◇Comment from Shinichi Hatori
The year 2025 saw many films that generated a lot of buzz. I believe the Japan Academy Awards are the culmination of that year. The fact that they are selected by people involved in the film industry makes them even more valuable, and the smiles on the stage of the actors and staff who received Excellence Awards remain in my memory every year.
I am looking forward to seeing what kind of smiles we will see this year, what kind of fun stories we will hear, and who will win the grand prize. I will do my best to support the event so that it can be a wonderful one.
◇Comment from Yuumi Kawai
I visited the venue for the first time last year, and was deeply impressed by its unreal brilliance and the solidarity between the many predecessors who have worked in the film industry.
I will do my best to make this a wonderful day for this year's award recipients, everyone involved in the film industry, and all the film fans who are looking forward to watching the ceremony! Thank you for your support!
