The completion ceremony for the film version of " The Dangers in My Heart The Dangers in My Heart, " based on the popular manga by Norio Sakurai currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site Manga Cross, was held on January 17th at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), with appearances by Shun Horie, who plays Kyotaro Ichikawa, Hina Yomiya , who plays Anna Yamada , and general director Hiroaki Akagi. Horie and Hitsujimiya appeared on stage in their school uniforms, with Horie smiling and saying, "It's been 14 years since I last wore a school uniform, and since I graduated from high school. I wore a gakuran in middle school and a blazer in high school. Please forgive me."
Horie commented on Director Akagi wearing a jacket and Hitsujimiya in his school uniform, "They're only for the teacher and student. It doesn't feel strange!" Hitsujimiya said, "My hair color is getting lighter, so I made it a little darker. I'm a bit of a mischievous student."
The film will be made up of re-edited footage from the TV anime, as well as brand new footage of what happened after the second season and that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada. It will be released on February 13th.
Horie said, "I never imagined this when we were recording the TV series, so I'm honestly filled with joy," and Hitsujimiya said, "I felt sad after the final episode of the second season of the anime finished, but I'm really happy that people will be able to watch it on the big screen. It's a really moving movie version."
During the stage greeting, it was announced that Kohana Ram, who sang the theme song for the TV anime series, and the band "Atarayo" would be performing an insert song. Kohana Ram also made a surprise appearance and performed the insert song "Kamisama no Byote wo Owarishita" live.
" The Dangers in My Heart" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) in 2018 and is currently being serialized in Champion Cross (same publisher). It's a youthful romantic comedy about Kyotaro Ichikawa, a nerdy boy with a chunibyo syndrome, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful, outgoing girl at the top of the school's social hierarchy. It's gained popularity, ranking in the "This Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" men's edition for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, and winning first place in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2020 in 2020. The manga has sold over 7 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024 on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot, NUMAnimation.
