The TV anime "The Goddess with Zero Followers and the Beginning of Another World Conquest," based on the light novel by Aile Osaki which originated on the Shosetsuka ni Naro," will begin airing in October. Toshiki Fukushima will direct the series, and HORNETS will produce it. It has also been announced that Sohei Horigane will voice the protagonist Makoto Takatsuki, and Ikumi Hasegawa will voice the goddess Noah.
This work is a light novel written by Osaki and illustrated by Tam-U. Makoto Takatsuki, the weakest high school student, is transported to another world along with his classmates and given the ability of a below-average wizard apprentice. With the blessing of Noah, a minor goddess with no followers, and a divine artifact, he aims to become the strongest using unconventional methods. The manga adaptation is also popular, and the series has sold over 500,000 copies in total.
