The second key visual for the first part of the film " Sound! Euphonium ! Euphonium," based on the novel by Ayano Takeda , " Sound! Euphonium! Sound! Euphonium 3," has been released. The visual features the 17 main members gathered together, with serious expressions on their faces as they play their instruments, and in the background is the Nagoya International Conference Center Century Hall, the venue for the national tournament that the Kitauji High School Wind Orchestra is aiming for. It was also announced that the theme song "To Coda" by singer TRUE and the original soundtrack will be released on April 24th, the same day the film is released.
" Sound! Euphonium" is set in the Kitauji High School brass band and depicts the growth of the brass band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, and the second season aired from October to December 2016.
The third and final season, "Sound! Euphonium 3," aired on NHK Educational TV from April to July 2024. It depicts the passionate final moments of Kumiko's high school life as she enters her third year and becomes the captain of the Kitauji High School brass band. Following on from the previous series, it was directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and produced by Kyoto Animation. The theatrical version, " Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movement," is directed by Ishihara and directed by Taichi Ogawa. The first part will be released on April 24th.
