It has been revealed that Kohana Ram and the band Atarayo will be performing insert songs for the film version of the TV anime "The Dangers in My Heart," which is based on the popular manga by Norio Sakurai that is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site "The Dangers in My Heart." The two groups who performed the theme songs for the TV anime series will also be participating in the film version.
Kohana Ru, who sang the insert song "I Broke God's Second Hand," commented, "I'm really happy to have been able to be involved in another insert song for the movie, following on from the first and second seasons. I created this song while imagining that scene that everyone loves. Like the title, "I Broke God's Second Hand," I sang with the desire to cherish "this moment" even if it means going against the predetermined fate. I hope that everyone will enjoy "BokuYaba" at the theater."
Atarayo, who will be performing the insert song "Haru Tonari," said, "The title 'Haru Tonari' has two meanings: 'to become spring' and winter as the 'season next to spring'. I wrote this song hoping to express the special atmosphere that the two of them have carefully created over time, little by little. I am truly happy to have been given the opportunity to be involved in the 'BokuYaba' production once again. I hope that you will enjoy the song along with the story. Please pay attention to the music as well as the story."
The film will be made up of re-edited footage from the TV anime, as well as all-new footage of what happened after the second season and "that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada." It will be released on February 13th. It has also been announced that it will be released in 26 countries and regions, including the United States, France, Italy, Germany, and Mexico.
"The Dangers in My Heart" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) in 2018 and is currently being serialized in Champion Cross (same publisher). It is a youthful romantic comedy about Ichikawa Kyotaro, an introverted boy in the midst of his chuunibyou syndrome, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful, outgoing girl at the top of the school's social hierarchy. It has gained popularity, having been ranked in the men's section of "This Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, and winning first place in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2020 in 2020. The comic has sold over 7 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024 on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation."
