NHK's science documentary program "Dark Side Mysteries" will air "Shikoku Mystery Legends: Emperor Antoku, Solomon's Treasure, and Ushioni" on NHK BS from 9:00 PM on January 16th. The special feature on the history, mysteries, and strange happenings of Shikoku will delve into three mysteries and wonders: "The Theory that Emperor Antoku is Still Alive," "The Legend of Solomon's Gold at Mt. Tsurugi," and "Does the Ushioni Monster Really Exist?"
Was Emperor Antoku, who was supposed to have disappeared into the sea at Dannoura during the Genpei War, still alive? The truth behind the numerous pieces of evidence hidden in the mountain village.
