" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora . Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn Yakumo Koizumi and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a heroine who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband.
In the 15th week, Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven ( Tommy Bastow) finally get married and become a family. They move with Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) and Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) from the tenement house they have lived in for many years to the castle town across the bridge. Seeing off Sawa (Wan Marui) and Yanami (Honami Sato), Toki and the others head to the samurai residence.
Heaven wants to adapt to the Japanese way of life in their new home, but... The Matsuno family receives a steady stream of visitors who want to celebrate Toki and Heaven's move. Meanwhile, Governor Eto (Sano Shiro) also arrives and gives Heaven his stamp of approval, saying that she is a fine Japanese person.
One day, Toki witnesses Heaven entering Yamahashi Pharmacy. He finds out that Heaven has lied to him and been sneaking off to Yamahashi (Tokio Emoto), who serves Western cuisine, and confronts her on the spot. Heaven then confesses her true feelings, saying that she's "a little tired" of trying to follow the Matsuno family's ways and behave like a Japanese person. Toki tells Heaven that she "hates being lied to," but Heaven tells him the truth, and they make up. And then they kiss...
