Professional figure skater Shoma Uno will appear on the talk variety show "A-Studio+" (TBS), which will air at 11:15 p.m. on January 16th.
Uno is currently 28 years old and is scheduled to retire from active competition in 2024 to begin his professional career. He talks about how he personally recruits members for the ice show he produces, and the accident that occurred during practice with Honda Marin.
He revealed that "even while I was still active, I played games right up until the moment of a competition," and "games were my main focus, not skating." Footage was also released of him falling asleep during a press conference after winning a silver medal at the Pyeongchang Olympics after playing too much games the day before.
In an interview with his younger brother, Itsuki, who attends a game creator vocational school, he said, "He only talks about games all the time, so I don't even know where he lives," and "I only found out about my brother's retirement on the news." He also reveals an episode in which his strict mother scolded him in an outrageous way during a sibling fight, and the struggles he faced as an athlete when he suffered a stress fracture in his leg in 2011.
