The final 22nd volume of the manga " Goddess Cafe Terrace, " a romantic comedy manga by manga artist Koji Seo , known for works such as " A Town Where You Live Fuuka " and "Kazeha," was released on January 16th. The series began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in February 2021 and reached its final chapter in November 2025, bringing the series to a close after about four and a half years of serialization. The final volume includes a color version of the "heroine confirmation scene" from chapter 216, which became a hot topic during the serialization, and the paper version comes with a specially designed "certificate of completion."
Seo commented, "Thank you for reading ' Goddess Cafe Terrace' until now. It has now been completed, but I think it will appear in Weekly Shonen Magazine irregularly, so please check it out if you see it," and said that special editions will be published in the future.
"Goddess Cafe Terrace" tells the story of Hayato Kasukabe, a brilliant student who passed the entrance exam to Tokyo University. Upon hearing the news of his grandmother's death, he returns to his family's old cafe terrace in a seaside town for the first time in three years and begins living with five strangers who call themselves "Grandma's Family." The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from July to September 2024.
Seo began his new series, "Ano Shima no Umiotosou," in the seventh issue of "Weekly Shonen Magazine," which went on sale on January 14. He has also been making waves by starting a new series just two months after the end of "Goddess Cafe Terrace."
