It has been announced that a completely new TV anime series based on the popular anime series "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha," "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance," will begin airing in July. The cast of main characters has also been announced, with Azusa Tachibana Ansaki playing the protagonist, Kuze Shiina, a high school student who lives on a remote island and works as a pest control hunter. The second key visual has also been released, showing the shadows of "mysterious girls," led by the "demon" Yokai Towa, gathering in a dark ruin.
The cast includes Hidaka Rina as Shiina's younger sister Setsuna, Yukawa Asaki as Yokai Towa, a mysterious girl who acts as a demon, Aizawa Shiori, Chiharu as Towa's mysterious supporter, Ayasa Ito as Niina Aoi, and Aoki Haruna as Furudera Yuzu.
Tachibana commented, "I am honored to be able to breathe new life into the long-loved Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. When I first met Shiina at the audition, I remember being deeply drawn to her straightforward feelings and gentle strength. I tried to carefully express those feelings while empathizing with each of her emotions. I hope you will join me in witnessing Shiina's journey through the story. Thank you very much!" Towa grew up in difficult and painful circumstances, and is a very strong girl who has continued to live until this day while searching for the meaning of life. "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" is a popular series that has been adapted into anime, games, novels, manga, and more. The first TV anime series aired from October to December 2004. The second series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's," aired from October to December 2005, the third series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS," aired from April to September 2007, and the fourth series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid," aired from April to June 2015.
The new film will be produced by Seven Arcs, with the original story and script by Tsuzuki Maki, who also worked on the series, and directed by Hamana Takayuki.
