The seven-member girl group HANA appeared at a rehearsal for the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, held at the NHK Broadcasting Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on December 28th. KOHARU enthusiastically said, "As the performance draws near, we're in the midst of getting ourselves in shape every day. The song we'll be performing is our debut song, 'ROSE,' and it's an important song with a really important message, so we hope to show the culmination of our year since our debut."
During the performance, she will be singing in front of Chanmina-san, who will be her producer. MOMOKA said, "I was surprised to find myself performing in front of and behind Chanmina-san, who is both my producer and my mentor, and whom I respect, but I wanted to sing my hardest for Chanmina-san and everyone else."
Since their debut on April 2nd, they have been on a roll. MAHINA reflected, "It's been a year in which I've learned a lot, had a variety of experiences, and grown a lot. I've had a lot of help from a lot of people, and I've met some great friends, so it's been a dream year."
The theme of the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen is "Connecting, Connecting, New Year's Eve," and it will be hosted by Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Haruka Ayase, Mio Imada, and announcer Naoko Suzuki. It will be broadcast from 7:20 pm to 11:45 pm on December 31st (with some news breaks).
