The Royal Family has made a miraculous comeback, but in order for Kurisu (Tsumabuki) and Koichi (Ren Meguro) to take to the stage of the Arima Kinen, which they have always dreamed of, they must first win a major race.
In his first race after his return, the Sapporo Kinen, he finished second, and in his second race, the Autumn Tenno Sho, he was faced with Rainbow Camp, owned by owner Shiina (Kazuki Sawamura). Although the family fought well, they were ultimately defeated by Rainbow Camp, ridden by jockey Rusei Sakai.
With no other options left, the family entered the Japan Cup. Rainbow Camp made an early move to take the lead, but the family made a comeback and pulled away to claim their revenge.
Then, at the climax of the race, the Arima Kinen, his mentor, trainer Yoshito Yahagi, made an unexpected appearance. When trainer Yahagi called out to jockey Sakai, saying, "Trust the horse and ride it," jockey Sakai responded enthusiastically, "Yes, I'll do my best."
He made a comeback with more screen time, and there was also the surprise of his master appearing, leading to comments on social media such as, "The production team of Royal Family really understands the economic impact of Sakai Rusei," and "I can't believe they're appearing as a master-disciple duo, lol."
