Ginji Kawada, the son of JRA (Japan Racing Association) jockey Masayoshi Kawada, will appear on the special program "Fuma Kikuchi's Sports Kingdom 2025" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV), which will be broadcast from 4:05 pm on December 14th.
Junko appeared in the segment "Japan's Fastest Pony vs. Relay Samurai." Under the theme "Can humans run faster than horses?", the race pitted the champion pony horse, Tsukumo Bijin, boasting a speed of 40 kilometers per hour, against Yuki Koike and Hiba Uzawa, who ran in the men's 4x100m relay as members of Japan's World Athletics Championships.
Junko teamed up with Tsukumo Bijin to win the National Pony Championships in 2023. Set at Kyoto Racecourse, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, the ponies will race 200 meters, while the Relay Samurai will compete in a relay format, passing the baton to each other for 100 meters each.
Other competitions include "Who has the longest distance? Super Bowl Home Run Battle," "The Ultimate Slap Championship," and "Volleyball vs. Soccer Spike PK Battle."
