It has been revealed that Akira Ozaki, known for his manga works such as "Arisugawa-san in Wonderland" and "Haru x Kiyo," will be adapted into a TV anime series in 2026. The popular manga, which began serialization in Bessatsu Margaret (Shueisha) in 2020, has sold over 2.8 million copies. It also garnered attention when a live-action film starring actress Mei Hata was released in 2024. The anime will be directed by Hitoshi Nanba, known for "GOSICK," and produced by Lay-duce. It has also been announced that Naomi Ozora will play Ito Narita and Toshiki Masuda Masuda will play Gen Narita as main cast members.
"My Little Brothers Are Sorry" is a romantic comedy that takes place under one roof. The story follows high school girl Narita Ito, who suddenly becomes the big sister of four unique "little brothers" after her mother remarries.
Ozora, who plays Narita Ito, commented, "I am very happy and delighted to be playing the role of Narita Ito. Ito tries to cherish her new family, trying to make compromises and feeling confused at times, but she stays positive and works hard with a straightforward attitude in her heart.
