The sixth installment of the special program digging up the unknown side of Akashiya Sanma, "Nobody Knows Akashiya Sanma 11" (Nippon TV), will be broadcast from 7:00 PM on December 14th. During the program, businessman Yusaku Maezawa will visit the new home he is building in his hometown of Chiba Prefecture, revealing the full details of the mansion that is nearing completion.
Construction of the new home has already been underway for 13 years, and it is a spectacular project that has been dubbed the "Sagrada Familia of Chiba." The huge stone wall decorating the entrance is made of the finest "Aji stone," which can only be found in Kagawa Prefecture's Gokenzan, and the front door is made of approximately 3,600-year-old "Jindai Sugi" cedar, which was buried underground when Mount Chokai erupted approximately 2,600 years ago.
The kitchen has a counter made of the finest Italian marble. It is said to be worth over hundreds of millions of yen, and Sanma shouts out, "You're kidding!" In the basement is a 17-meter-long wine cellar that can store 2,200 bottles of wine, and the space is astounding.
There is apparently a place in the alcove of the Japanese-style room in the basement that is strictly off-limits, and even leaving fingerprints is not permitted. Sanma reports on Maezawa's mansion, commenting, "If it was a normal private home, I'd be angry!" and "It's on a whole other level!"
