The 43rd episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi, was broadcast on November 26th. In the episode, viewers reacted to the behavior of Kan'emon ( Fumiyo Kohinata), who had fallen in love.
One morning, at the dinner table, Toki is asked by Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) about her job as a maid. Toki explains that Heaven (Tommy Bastow) is gradually getting used to life in Japan, and says, "It seems like he has a good relationship with a woman." When Toki says that she doesn't know if Heaven has a wife, Tsukasanosuke remarks, "If he had a wife, he'd bring her to Japan."
When Tsukasanosuke found out that Heaven was 40 years old, he was astonished and said, "40?! To be so close at such an age... You should be ashamed, I don't know what to say..." Kan'emon then replied, "Just like the samurai era ended suddenly, you never know what will happen in life. Spring can come suddenly, can't it?" Then some neighborhood children came over and called out to Kan'emon, "Good morning, Master Skip."
Later, when Toki goes outside to go to work, she sees Kan'emon teaching the children how to skip. The children's grandmother, Tatsu (Asaka Mayumi), is nearby, watching the three practice. Toki says, "I'm off," to which Tatsu replies, "Have a good day." Toki looks confused, but Kan'emon sends him off with a smile.
Kan'emon's new nickname, "Skip Master," has attracted attention and was briefly a trending topic on X. Comments on social media included, "Skip Master is so cute as spring approaches," "Before we knew it, he became Skip Master lol," "Skip Master, the last samurai with flexible values," "Grandpa, Skip Master who's good at skipping, and an old man in love, he shows off all sorts of cute sides every time, it's unfair...," "I'm curious to see how this love story between old people will turn out," and "Spring has come for the skilled skipping grandpa."
