Kozo accepted Koichi's (Ren Meguro) suggestion that Royal Happiness should have a child in order to utilize Royal Hope's power. In 2020, Royal Hope and Royal Happiness gave birth to a child (a colt), which Kozo named "Royal Family." He showed his strong determination by telling Kurisu and Koichi, "Let's go get the things we forgot as a family at the Arima Kinen."
The Royal Family's racehorse registration application was submitted, and Kozo went to see Kurisu and his family. When Kozo said that when he was young, all he thought about was making money, Kurisu replied, "It was the accumulation of all that hard work that led to your encounter with horses."
Kozo told Kurisu, "I've been having a lot of dreams lately about winning the Arima Kinen. I'll tell you in advance, it won't be a bother if I appear in your dreams." Kurisu's eyes welled up with tears, but she smiled as best she could and said, "I understand that."
"I was a mediocre horse owner, but I think it was a great achievement that I got you onto this path," Kurisu said, unable to hold back any longer, as tears began to flow from his eyes.
On social media, people were talking about the film, saying things like, "I cried when the president said, 'It was an achievement to drag you down this path,'" "The president's words will surely touch the heart of Kurisu, who was saved by meeting the president, who was like a father to her," "Until now, I've never cried when Kurisu, who is very emotional, cried, but this time I really cried along with her," and "The acting by Koichi Sato and Satoshi Tsumabuki is amazing."
