The original short drama "Cutie Honey BELOVED ENEMY" began exclusive distribution on the video streaming service "DMM Short" on November 25th. Additionally, a scene cut featuring the main character, Kisaragi Honey, played by Abe Natsuki, was also released.
This film is a live-action adaptation of Go Nagai's popular manga "Cutie Honey," and tells an original story with new developments not found in the original work. Kisaragi Honey, the daughter of a large company president, lives a life of luxury but one day suddenly falls into poverty. Her true identity is "Cutie Honey, the warrior of love," an android created with the "Air Element Fixation Device," who carries on her late father's will and fights against the ruthless female president, Kuroo Hyoko (Rina Hashimoto).
Honey's weapon is her ability to transform freely depending on the situation. The newly released stills show her fighting with striking short red hair and a tight suit, as well as scenes of her transforming into a variety of different characters, including an otaku, a charismatic host, and a professional wrestler.
