In response to the first large-scale exhibition of Nagano Mamoru, known for the manga "Five Star Stories" (KADOKAWA), "DESIGNS Nagano Mamoru Design Exhibition," which will be held at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall B in Ikebukuro, Tokyo from December 19th, it has been announced that the animated film "Flower Poetess Gottimaed," which Nagano also worked on, will be screened at TOHO Cinemas Ikebukuro (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) from December 19th to 25th.
The film was released in 2012, but has never been packaged or distributed, and is therefore also known as a "legendary anime." A talk show will be held on December 27th, with Nagano, Kawamura Maria, and Inoue Shinichiro taking to the stage.
The exhibition will feature original drawings, illustrations, setting drawings, rough sketches, and more from works produced before his commercial debut, including "Heavy Metal L-Gaim," "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," "Brain Powered," "Shellblit," "The Five Star Stories," and "Flower Poet Gothicmade."
The exhibition was held in Saitama in February 2024 and has since traveled to Aichi, Fukuoka, and Osaka. This will be the first time it is held in Tokyo, and new exhibits will be on display for the first time, in addition to works added at the Osaka and Fukuoka venues. It will run until January 12, 2026.
