The eighth episode of the TV anime "SANDA," based on the manga by Paru Itagaki, known for "BEASTARS," titled "The Ultimate Selfishness is Called Love," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Animeism" on MBS, TBS, and other channels from late night on November 21st.
Santa, cornered by Nabatame, escapes danger thanks to Fuyumura. However, children's wishes take a toll on Santa's heart, and Santa, feeling guilty for not being able to grant Nabatame's wish, decides to strengthen his heart. Mita immediately tries to grant Erhu's wish, but becomes so agitated when Erhu asks for a kiss that he nearly transforms into Santa in front of Erhu.
"SANDA" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) from July 2021 to July 2024. It is a unique "Santa Claus" hero action story set in a near-future Japan where children are overly protected in an era of extremely low birth rates. The anime is directed by Tomohisa Shimoyama, known for "Yurei Deco" and "SUPER SHIRO," and produced by Science SARU. Ayumu Murase plays the role of Mita Kazushige, and Tochi Hiroki plays the role of Santa Claus.
