It was announced on November 19th that former graduates of "Kazama Kyojo" will appear in the film "Kyojo Reunion," starring actor Takuya Kimura.
The first part of the "Kyojo" film project, "Kyojo Reunion," will be available on Netflix from January 1st, while the second part, "Kyojo Requiem," will be released in theaters from February 20th. The story revolves around the grizzled Kazama Kimuchika (played by Kimura), a strict instructor with a prosthetic right eye. He uses his sharp gaze to discern the various doubts, conflicts, and secrets that arise among the police academy trainees, sifting through them and forcing them to submit their withdrawal notices one after another. The first series, "Kyojo," aired as Fuji TV's New Year's special in 2020, followed by the second series, "Kyojo II," in 2021, and "Kazama Kimuchika - Kyojo 0," a story about Kazama's past, in the same network's Getsuku slot in 2023.
"Kyoujo Reunion" will feature 198th class graduates from "Kyoujo" broadcast in 2020: Oshima Yuko, Kawaguchi Haruna, Miura Shohei, and Mikata Ryosuke. 200th class graduates from "Kyoujo II" broadcast in 2021: Hamada Gaku, Haruka Fukuhara, and Ren Meguro. Also appearing in "Kazama Koushin - Kyojo 0" broadcast in 2023 are Kazama Dojo students Eiji Akaso, Mai Shiraishi, and Sometani Shota, as well as Sakaguchi Kenji, who played Yanagisawa, Kazama's "secret buddy" who pursues Tozaki alongside him.
The first part, "Kyojo Reunion," tells the story of the 205th class of students, including Kadota (Keito Tsuna Hironaga), Yashiro (Kyoko Saito), Hoshitani (Saito Kyoko), Ishiguro (Urakami Seishu), Wakatsuki (Nakamura Aoi), Watanabe (Igari Soya), and Kasahara (Kaneko Daichi). Furthermore, alumni who are active in their respective fields reunite under Kazama to track down Tozaki's whereabouts.
