The ninth episode of NHK's evening drama "Hirayasumi" (General TV, Monday to Thursday 10:45 p.m.), starring actor Okayama Amane, will be broadcast on November 17th.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by Shinzo Keigo, which has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2021. The story follows 29-year-old part-time worker Ikuta Hiroto (Okayama) who inherits a single-story house from his neighbor, Wada Hanae (Negishi Tokie), and begins living with his 18-year-old cousin Kobayashi Natsumi (Mori Nana), who moved to Tokyo from Yamagata. People with difficult life problems gather around them...
In episode 9, Natsumi is on her first summer vacation since college and is bored because she can't do anything summer-like. Then Hideki (Yoshimura Kaito) shows up with fireworks and watermelon.
Hiroto and Natsumi are enjoying the fireworks together with Hideki, who is feeling lonely after his wife returns to her parents' house. While Hiroto is at the convenience store, Hideki finds a DVD of an independent film he made with Hiroto in high school.
Natsumi and Hideki watch a movie that was a big hit at the school festival, but... Scene cuts have also been released.
