It has been announced that a 4K ULTRA HD Blu-ray version of the popular anime "Girls und Panzer ( Garupan)" will be released on February 25, 2026, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its release. The bonus features include a 4K upconverted OVA, "Alice War!", and a new staff commentary as an audio bonus. It also comes with a bonus disc containing footage of the theater's stage greeting, scheduled for November 22, and a special booklet. It will also come in a luxurious design with a storage box featuring original artwork by character designer Fumikane Shimada and an original anime jacket illustration.
"Girls und Panzer der Film 10th Anniversary Screening - A Little Extra Variation! -" will be screened in cinemas from November 21st. In addition to the regular screenings, Dolby Atmos screenings, and 4DX screenings that have been held in the past, there will also be 4K screenings and MX4D screenings, which upconvert the images to higher definition.
"Girls und Panzer" is an anime set in a world where tank fighting, known as "Sensha-do," is considered an art form on a par with flower arranging and tea ceremony, and follows a group of girls joining forces to win the national tank fighting championship. The TV anime aired from 2012 to 2013, and the movie version was released in 2015. Episode 1 of the final chapter was screened in theaters in December 2017, episode 2 in June 2019, episode 3 in March 2021, and episode 4 in October 2023.
The anime "Girls und Panzer : More Love Love Operation!", based on the official spin-off manga, will be screened in theaters from December 26th. It consists of four acts, with Act 1 being released on December 26th, Act 2 on January 30th, 2026, Act 3 on March 6th, and Act 4 on April 10th.
