The 34th episode of the NHK morning drama " Bakebake " ( Asadora to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on November 13th. The line "Dakitakunai" (I don't want to be a jerk) spoken by Heaven ( Tommy Bastow) in the episode became a trending topic on X, attracting the attention of viewers.
The Matsuno family is suspicious of Toki (played by Takaishi), who claims to be working at the Hanada Inn, so they follow him on his way to work. They witness him enter the Hanada Inn, exit through the back door, and go into Heaven's house.
Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) and her friends burst in and questioned Toki. Resigned to her fate, Toki revealed with tears in her eyes that she had become Heaven's mistress, saying, "I can't live without doing things like this."Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) became enraged and grabbed Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa) by the collar, saying, "You've deceived my daughter."
Heaven couldn't understand why her family was so angry, so Nishikori explained that no family would be happy if their daughter became a concubine. Heaven then became enraged, saying in English, "You've got to be kidding me. Don't mess with me," and then in Japanese, "Dad, you're so mean... a mistress... it's different. Dad, are you okay?"
Toki collapses to his knees in relief. Heaven looks up the word "dakitakunai" in the dictionary, to which Toki replies, "That's rude in itself!" Fumi replies, "You want to hold me, don't you?", and Tsukasanosuke adds, "That's right!" Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata) shouts, "Perry, get ready!" as he readies his wooden sword and tries to attack Heaven.
Comments on social media included, "Fireball was too direct lol," "Heaven-sensei has some strong words! LOL," "What kind of exchange is this lol," "I'm glad the misunderstanding was cleared up - it was funny that part made people laugh lol," "The Matsuno family's comedy follows a tense scene. The pace is so different," and "I thought, wow, this is going to be hell! But then I burst out laughing."
