Yasuko Sawaguchi stars in the Getsuku drama "Absolute Zero: Emergency Investigation of Information Crimes" (Fuji TV, Mondays at 9pm). The synopsis and stills from episode 7, which will air on November 17th, have been released.
Past system failures, serial murders of system engineers, and the abduction of Ninomiya Nami (played by Sawaguchi). The Metropolitan Police Department has determined that the same organization is involved in these series of incidents. It has designated the case as "National Police Agency Wide-Area Major Case H-WKN159." Saso Shinjiro (played by Ken Yasuda Ken) orders DICT to uncover the full picture and quickly eliminate the organization.
At the same time, Nami is at a university hospital receiving treatment for the leg injury she sustained in the abduction incident. She happens to be in an elevator with a young patient, Kuno Mayu (Shirayama Noa), her accompanying nurse, and a cleaning staff member. The elevator then makes an emergency stop, trapping them inside.
At the hospital, Secretary General Nakano's (Okouchi Hiroshi) wife, Mitsue (Nishimi Katsura), was undergoing heart surgery, but the power in the operating room went out, causing chaos in the hospital.
It soon turns out to be a cyber terrorist attack in which the entire hospital system has been hacked. All data is encrypted, and a message demanding payment is displayed on the computer screen. The hospital calls in Seno Kota (Mikata Ryosuke), an employee of the systems company, to expedite the recovery.
Saso hints to Kyoko Kiritani (Yuka Itaya) that there is a connection between this case and H-WKN159. Tomoyo Tanabe (Azusa Babazono) and Kei Kakegawa (Satoshi Kanada) head to the hospital, while Sae Shimizu (Yuna Kuroshima) remotely cooperates with Seno to advance the investigation.
Mayu is trapped in the elevator and her life is in danger if her IV drip runs out. The Chief Secretary's wife, Mitsue, also needs to resume surgery as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the perpetrator sends a new provocative message...
The drama is the fifth in the "Absolute Zero" series. It is set in the DICT, an investigative agency that investigates information crimes that abuse advanced information technology and threaten the lives and property of citizens. They tackle a variety of information crimes, including special frauds, such as anonymous and mobile crimes (tokuryu), and cyberterrorism.
