Businessman Ichizo Kobayashi will be featured on the NHK Educational TV cultural program "How Much Did Great People Earn?", which will be broadcast from 7:30 pm on November 10th. The program will look into the earnings of Ichizo, who gave dreams to the Japanese people through railways, theater, and rice curry.
Kobayashi Ichizo is a businessman who is said to have "enriched the lives of the Japanese people" and "created a new management model." He founded the Hankyu Railway, sold homes along the line, and built the Takarazuka Revue and department stores directly connected to stations, attracting people and making a profit. He also founded a baseball team and conceived the idea of a new large theater. All of this was driven by his desire to "create a culture that men, women, and children could enjoy."
The story reveals Kazuzo's surprising side and his astonishing annual income.
The show will be hosted by Shosuke Tanihara and Reina Yamazaki. Hiroki Konno will play Ichizo Kobayashi.
