The 31st episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on November 10th, and viewers responded to Toki's (Takaishi) "determination" to become a maid and the kind lie she tells to help her family.
In episode 31, Toki decides to become Heaven's ( Tommy Bastow) maid. With Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa) present, Toki introduces herself to Heaven, but is unexpectedly turned down. Toki and Nishikori are confused, and Heaven expresses her anger, saying, "You're a filthy girl, you're wrong!"
Somehow, the misunderstanding is cleared up and Toki is allowed to become a maid, and she receives one month's salary of 20 yen. Unable to tell her family, Toki tells Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) that she has started working at the Hanada Inn.
Later, Toki ambushes Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki) and hands him part of his wages. Sannojo pushes it back, saying, "Don't make fun of me," but Toki replies, "It's not my money!" and lies, saying that it was given to him by Sannojo's late father, Den (Shinichi Tsutsumi). He tells Sannojo that he was told to hand over the money when the Ushimizu family was homeless, and persuades him, saying, "This is a gesture from your uncle to your aunt. Please accept it."
Sannojo muttered, "From my father...to my mother..." and said, "In that case..." as he accepted the money. Toki replied, "That's good... Use this money to rent a house and get on with it."Sannojo asked, "Is that all you need?" and when Toki replied, "Yes...", he said, "Well then..." and left.
As Toki walked, he muttered to himself, "Uncle... I'm sorry. I used your name to lie. But... I had no choice but to burn. Please forgive me... And... Please help my aunt."
Comments on social media included, "My mind is wrecked from Monday morning... (This is praise)," "Ahhh, so exhausting. Otoki is so brave," "Toki's decision, kind lies, and love for his family have me in tears from Monday morning...," "Otoki's determined face at the end was amazing," "Her slight smile, which looks like she's made up her mind about something but has also given up, is scary. What amazing acting," "Akari Takaishi's acting with her expressions is amazing," and "Akari Takaishi's stunning acting gave me goosebumps."
